Vortamiksilo is a educational program that mixes up the letters of a word, and challenges you to figure out what the word is. This program encourages abstract thinking.

Vortamiksilo features include:

Option to select from multiple word lists
Option to select clue to make it easier to figure out the word
Counter tracks how many of your answers are correct
Some of the included word lists: World countries and capitals, Canadian geography, In the House, Animals, Outdoors, United States, Human Body
Ability to create your own lists or modify the defaults
Programmed using tcl/TK

Downloading Vortamiksilo:

Windows users please download this file and save it to your computer. This file is approximately 1.2 MB in size, so it may take a while to download if you are using a slow connection.
You can create a new folder on your desktop, or your home directory called "Vortamiksilo", and save the Vortamiksilo.exe file in there. To run the program, just click on the file.
Create a shortcut on your desktop to this file. This is as easy as clicking on the saved file with you right mouse button, selecting "Send to ..." and then "Desktop (create shortcut)".
