mySpellingBee

mySpellingBee is a computerised program that plays recorded words which you attempt to spell by typing the word.
mySpellingBee features include:
Option to select from multiple word lists
Tracks correct answers
Optional repeat mode, words stay in the current list until they are correctly spelled.
Ability to create your own lists of recorded words
A few recorded lists are included: Animals, Canadian geography, United States
Programmed using tcl/TK

Downloading mySpellingBee:
Windows users please download this file and save it to your computer. This file is approximately 3.3 MB in size, so it may take a while to download if you are using a slow connection.
You can create a new folder on your desktop, or your home directory called "mySpellingBee", and save the mySpellingBee.exe file in there. To run the program, just click on the file.
Create a shortcut on your desktop to this file. This is as easy as clicking on the saved file with you right mouse button, selecting "Send to ..." and then "Desktop (create shortcut)".
